ALICIA GUEVARA has been doing makeup & hair in the television and film industry for over 15 years. Her knowledge of lighting and angles have helped her translate that to makeup the most beautiful faces in the world. Her list of published work includes national ads, commercials and editorials in magazines such as SEVENTEEN, REDBOOK, WOMAN’S DAY & FIRST. Alicia has a diverse group of clients from tele novella stars to international celebrities and public figures. Her complete repertoire for makeup and hair includes image consulting, makeup for commercial, print, television, film, theatre, airbrushing, special effects, colorist, haircutting, wig work, braiding and extensions.
Alicia is also a licensed cosmetologist and can be found at her salon coloring and cutting hair when she is not doing makeup for television. Her ability to cut and color hair in addition to styling and makeup have made her a leading and sought after artist in the industry. Since she started her modeling and acting career at the young age of 15, she has taken her tips and experience in front of the camera to help her achieve the desired results when it comes to makeup and hair. Alicia is an advocate of real beauty and is always furthering her education in makeup and hair artistry. She is a true professional dedicated to her craft and has trained and traveled with lines such as NARS, SISLEY, MAC, STILA, etc. With regards to hair she has trained and been invited by CHI/Farouk Systems to their invitation only training headquarters. As an image expert, her client range has been from helping transform the image of employees for professional companies to reflecting the edginess of a new rock band. She is also sponsored and currently serves as the social media ambassador for DOVE, AXE and SUAVE and travels nationally promoting their Facebook Tress Apprentice Contest .
Alicia’s focus is on unveiling and optimizing each individual’s natural beauty. With a reputation for always providing her clients with flawless skin and her strict attention to detail, her work as a makeup artist displays a concentration on clean, enhanced, natural beauty. Her signature style for hair are soft waves and messy coifs for women and custom cuts with undetected eyebrow grooming for men. Her clients red carpet and live event appearances demonstrate her ability to create superior results in important situations where retakes and photoshop are not an option.
Alicia enjoys sharing her tips and beauty techniques and has held several makeup workshops where she has taught over 100 up and coming artists and amateurs hone their skills in makeup artistry. Her workshops were so successful that a Noble House accredited Resort recruited her to be the featured artist of their Flawless Beauty Weekend, where guests would attend several seminars and workshops taught by Alicia.
Alicia currently lives in San Antonio, Texas with her husband, four children, two dogs, and her bird. The only thing she is more dedicated to than her artistry is her family. She is also a firm believer in helping and inspiring others to live their dreams. She currently has a family of senior artists that assist and are available for bookings through her company, The Professionals Makeup+Hair+Image.
